Happy new year :)

Happy new year :) , ursprünglich hochgeladen von Martin Mc Klein

I wish you all a happy new year. This year did not start very ell for me. First I got a “tear drop” during the lead casting which stands for tears and sadness for 2010. After we went out and had some fun with our fireworks, I got really sick and went back home really early.

On new year´s day I had to go to the emergency service to get some medic against my strong bronchitis and fever. I hope to recover soon, because we have a lot of snow out there :(

Here are some pictures taken during our party

Well basicly I wanted to shoot with a friend in Dortmund city tonight, but he canceled. So I got bored and decided to play a little bit with the new Lee filters. Sully was standing since several days on my table (wondering when I bought him?) and soon he was the main actor this night.

I´m tracking Dustin Diaz´s work now for some time and I´m very swayed by his style. I just wanted to express my honor to his work by this time.

Cars and the city.

Cars and the city., ursprünglich hochgeladen von m.little

After my painful back was feeling a little bit better, I decided to take a shot of my cars. For this one I needed some help from my dad, who was the second driver and helped out with the setup :)

I tried to get a romantic and inner city light athmosphere but the large yellow streetlamp (you can see at the setup shot) limited the use of exposure. Actually I wanted to have the city more brighter, so I settled with this shot.
